Who We Are

Click to see our events! Wags N Whiskers is an independant 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to provide education on and assistance with spay/neuter surgery for dogs and cats in the Ephrata/Soap Lake/Quincy/MosesLake areas.

Wags N Whiskers does not operate an animal shelter and has limited resources, however, works with a small network of foster homes and other rescue organizations to help as many homeless animals as possible. Wags also works with the City of Ephrata Police Department and area shelters to find forever homes for the animals we take in.

Wags N Whiskers' financial support is primarily through individual donations and fundraisers, and Wags has been the honored recipient of grants from the Paul Lauzier Foundation, Rotary Club of Ephrata and the PetCo Foundation. With this support, we are able to offer vouchers for reduced cost spay/neuter surgery with participating vets to low income families who want to be responsible pet owners, but are unable to pay the full cost. If you or someone you know needs assistance, or would like to help, please contact us. We participate in fundraisers and hope to provide more educational opportunities to our community on the importance of spay/neuter to help reduce animal overpopulation.
