Who We Are
Helping Every Animal Rescue Team (HEART) is a new rescue group recognized by the State of Washington as a non-profit group. We assist in re-homing pets for families who are unable to keep theirs or others who have found abandoned or stray pets. We are a small group so our foster homes are limited but we are happy to place the pet on the website to further help their chance of being adopted. Placing a pet on our website is done as a courtesy community service and there is no fee involved.
We do offer transportation to families who are unable to make the trip to an out of town low cost spay/neuter clinic. If we have a scheduled appointment, we will be happy to take yours with us, we just ask that the pets be up to date on shots, you pay the low cost spay/neuter fee and we ask for a small gas donation to help offset costs. Adopting a friend
All pets, if old enough, are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. If they are too young, you are then obligated by contract to have them altered prior to their six month birthday. Pets are up to date on all shots and most are microchipped prior to adoption. Our general adoption fees are $50.00 for cat and kittens; $80.00 for dogs and puppies. Adoption fees may vary.
We adopt our pets to loving homes where the pet is a member of a family and not just an "animal". We try very hard to match the pet to the adopter so it is a life long adoption and both are happy.

HEART does not have a shelter but please don't let that stop you from adopting from us. We are happy to make arrangements to meet you so please email us. We work during the week so arrangements to meet are generally after 5:30pm on weekdays or on weekends. We look forward to hearing from you and sincerely appreciate you considering a rescue pet as they are the BEST!
