Vollunters Needed...

Foster homes needed in the Renton/Tukwila/Kent areas. We are looking for persons willing to take in 2 or more cats/kittens, be able to administer oral medications (antibiodics) and eye medication when needed, and possibly assist in the adoption process. You would be required to set up a spare room or bathroom specific to them, and keep them from other pets in your home unless pre-approved to do so. Minium 2 week stay, maxium 2 months. We also need foster homes for hamsters & guinea pigs. Supplies will be provided in the form of food, bedding, toys, & habitats for the pocket pets. You supply the LOVE. We are an all specie refuge, as space allows. We are able to accomadate birds, reptiles, aquatics, rodents, etc., as well as, small breed dogs & puppies . While we do still have some wonderful young adult cats for adoption, we are no longer accepting them into our foster program. There is just not enough foster homes to go around. Before you consider surrendering your pet, please, please do all you can to keep him/her! It is always tramatic for them to loose their families! And please, just because you "rescued" your pet 5 yrs ago, they stop being rescues as soon as you make the commitment to keep them...for the rest of their lives... no matter what! And that starts on the first day you keep them.

Who We Are

All of our fosterlings are placed in various foster homes. You will be given an apointment and driving instructions, after you have been pre-qualified over the phone. All dog adoptions are done in the comfort of your own home (after pre-qualifying), where you can observe him/her with your other pets and family members. There is never any pressure to adopt at these visits, and good housekeeping is not necessary! We are looking for "forever", loving homes and try to fit the personalities and needs of both the pet and the new family to accomplish this.

Please call 206-255-6369, for a pre-qualifying phone interview with one of our adoption facilitators. If leaving a message, you must speak clearly and at a moderate pace. State your name, phone number and pet you are interested in. Calls are returned in the order they are received. If you do not receive a return call within 24 hours, please call again! Please send your tax-deductable donations to the address below. You will receive a receipt by return mail.
