Adopting A Friend

Adopt your new furry best friend at CVAS! All of our dogs and cats have been vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given the best medical care. They receive a ton of TLC from our volunteers to keep them happy and well socialized while under our care. Our Adoption Counselors are here to help both you, and our pets, find the perfect match!

1.Search here for your new furry best friend here in our listings

2. When you find a pet that you are interested in, please call or email us to set-up an appointment to meet with the animal and your adoption counselor:

Nancy Rose, Dog Adoption Coordinator
Phone: 509-684-1475
E: info@colvillevalleyanimalsanctuary.com

Becca Shaw, Cat Adoption Coordinator
Phone: 509-684-1475
E: info@colvillevalleyanimalsanctuary.com

3. If you like the pet you meet, you will then fill out an adoption application and contract. Your application will be reviewed with the goal of finding the best possible match between the animal and adopting family.

4. Once you are approved, you can take the animal home.

5. Some animals do require a home check. If the animal you are interested in requires a home check, one of our group representatives will make an appointment to bring the animal to your home for a visit. Ultimately, our objective is to facilitate a successful placement that meets the needs of both the animal and the adopting family.

Who We Are

The Colville Valley Animal Sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, spaying/neutering and adoption of homeless and neglected companion animals, in a county without any animal control or county-supported shelter. Staffed almost entirely by volunteers, we provide both crisis and long-term sheltering, medical care, rehabilitation and adoption, either on site or by transferring to partner shelters with greater adoption opportunities.

Come Visit Us

We would love to have you visit us and the animals. Please give us a call so we can schedule an appointment. Our kennel manager is available 7 days a week by appointment to greet you at the sanctuary. We would hate to miss you, so please call ahead. 509-684-1475
