Who We Are
About Northwest Doberman Rescue
Northwest Doberman Rescue (NWDR) is a small group of
committed volunteers whose mission is to ensure
Dobermans in need of new homes are placed into a safe
environment where they will be loved, appreciated, and
well cared for.
We help place Dobermans who have been abandoned and
neglected or those given up by families who can no
longer care for them. If you would like to adopt a
dog or you would like help in finding a new home for
your dog, we can help.
Although we are based in Centralia, Washington, our
foster homes are located in Idaho, Oregon, and
Washington. NWDR is listed for rescue in Idaho, Oregon,
and Washington, to help Dobermans in need in
these states. We have placed Dobermans as far
away as Montana and if we can't help you, we will
refer you to other Doberman rescue organizations in
your state.
NWDR has agreed to the Doberman Pinscher Club of
America Rescue Committee's Doberman Rescue
Code of Ethics.
How You Can Help
There are many ways you can help support Northwest
Doberman Rescue. We are in need of foster home
volunteers and people who have a large vehicle who can
help in transporting Dobermans to new foster homes.
We are always in need of dog food and supplies. If you
would like to help in any of these areas, please
contact us.
Let Us Know About Dogs That Need To Be Rescued
If you know about a dog that needs to be rescued or
suspect that a dog might need our help, please contact
us immediately. We can help to answer any questions
you have and determine if the dog does need to be
rescued.
