These animals have been staying in volunteers' homes and getting that extra attention needed to get them ready to find their forever homes! Their foster parents can give you a lot of valuable information about the type of home each animal is looking for.
An animal is placed in foster care if it is:
- too young for adoption
- sick and needs medication to heal (all pets receive a clean bill of health before being available for adoption), or
- does not do well in the shelter environment.
