WVOA SHOWINGS

SIX DAYS A WEEK!!! MONDAY through SATURDAY afternoons you may view kitties at Whatcom Voice of the Animals' presentment area at HOHL's FEED on Railroad Avenue, downtown Bellingham 11:30-6pm. Come and join us!

AFFORDABLE ADOPTION PROGRAM: We have many older kittens available and our facilities are also full of adult cats all needing loving homes. Please contact us if you would like to visit.

WE ARE IN DESPARATE NEED OF FOSTER HOMES FOR CATS AND KITTENS! If you are able to help please call WVOA at (360)650-0556.

All of our animal listings are kept current. All animals on the site are still available for adoption. If you notice the date the animal was placed on the site is several months old, please understand that wonderful little baby is still waiting for a kind heart and loving adoptive family.

If you are caught by surprise with an unexpected litter of kittens and are willing to release them to us so that we may find them good homes, we will supply a free or reduced cost spay for the mother. Please call Laina (360)650-0556 for details. WVOA offers spay/neuter assistance. Please spay/neuter your pet. Too many dogs/cats go without loving homes and the warmth of human companionship.

WVOA has a Pet Food Bank available for those in need. Please contact us for assistance. We are giving away pet food three days a month. The second and last Friday of every month 1230pm-3pm, and the last Wednesday of the month in the evening 5-7pm. You can find us at the Bellingham Food Bank, 1822 Ellis St.

Volunteers keep us going. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer. There are many ways to be of help. We could use assistance in keeping kitty cages cleaned at Hohl's Feed. We are there six days a week.

Who We Are

Whatcom Voice of the Animals (WVOA) has a simple mission for its existence, to save as many lives as possible from needless death. We are a no-kill organization that has no central shelter. Instead, our compassionate volunteers open their homes as foster care facilities. Animals staying in foster care are cared for and nurtured until adoptions are arranged.

Adopting a friend

Adoption fees are needed for the costs and care of the animals in our facilities. You are encouraged to call the number listed in the animal description for the adoption fee for that cat or kitten. Included in the adoption fees are initial and follow-up vaccinations (except rabies), Spay/nueter certificate, deworming and defleaing. Cats have been tested for feline AIDS and feline leukemia.

If you have an interest in adopting one of our homeless friends, a preadoption form will need to be completed and reviewed. Adoptions with a good family match can usually be completed within three days.

Come Visit Us!

If you wish to stop by one of our facilities, please give us a call. We will be glad to arrange visitation times with you. You may also visit our feline friends six days a week at Hohl's Feed on RailRoad Avenue, downtown Bellingham, just up from Whatcom Transit.
