Many pets are coming into breeding season, so now is the time for prevention! Be a responsible and caring pet parent and ensure your pets are all spayed and neutered now, before it becomes a problem. Any communities with feral cat colonies can act now to start limiting the colony growth by contacting the Feral Cat Spay and Neuter Project in Lynnwood. Good luck and thank you!
News
Spring is finally here. Please ensure your animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped and licensed for their own health and safety. Unaltered animals are much more likely to stray from home, get hit by cars or involved in fights. If they are chipped and licensed, we can help reunite them with their families. Your local vet is your best resource!
Who We Are
The Animal Control Officers are part of the Edmonds Police Department and provide service to both the City of Edmonds and Mountlake Terrace. All the stray animals are held for at least 72 hours before they are available for adoption from the Adix's Bed & Bath for Dogs & Cats.
Adopting a friend
Adix's adoption fee is $25.00. The City of Edmonds charges an additional $15.00 or $65.00 depending on whether the pet has already been altered. Juvenile kittens and puppies that are adopted at the $65.00 rate will receive a $50.00 refund from the City of Edmonds upon proof of alteration.
