Forget Me Not has two adoption specials running right now. For dogs, we have a $45 Black Tie Special on black adult dogs! For cats, our summer Respect Your Elders special finds certain adult and senior cats available for only $20!! Reduced prices on many kittens, too. We are a registered GivingWorks charity on eBay, and also do charity auctions on the fantastic new auction site www.NeoLoch.com - we accept donations of any good quality, sellable items (they do not need to be pet-oriented), for us to sell on eBay or at our annual yard sale. So far this year, we have sold everything from toy cars to genuine Louis Vuitton purses, all donated by pet lovers like you!Who We Are
We are a 501(c)3 charitable animal welfare organization in Ferry County, WA, and are staffed entirely by volunteers. In January 2007, we purchased an 8-acre parcel of land, on which we have begun building our permanent facility. Until we have enough volunteers to adequately staff the shelter building, (or enough monthly pledges that we can hire our first employees), our dogs and kittens will continue to be kept in foster homes, where they receive the best attention and socialization. Healthy, altered, adoptable adult cats get to have the run of the current shelter building, where they love visiting with all the volunteers who stop by. We believe our cats are happier because they aren't kept in cages. Become a preapproved adopter and we can schedule a private meeting with any pet that appeals to you!Adopting a friend
If you have fallen in love - or at least are mildly infatuated - with one of our cuddly critters, please email kim@forgetmenotshelter.org and let us know you'd like an adoption application. We can fax, email, or snail-mail the application to you - filling out an application does not commit you to adopting an animal, but it does give us the information we need to get you cleared as an adoptive home should you decide on an animal.
