Broken Oaks is at its capacity of horses that it can accommodate at our facility at this time. We are in need of foster homes or persons wanting to adopt a horse. Most of the horses at Broken Oaks are not able to be used as riding horses but are gentle to handle and make great companion animals.
Who We Are
The non-profit horse rescue organization, Broken Oaks Equine Retirement Center Inc. has been set up to rescue and provide a permanent home for horses to live out their final years in peace and comfort. We also function as a horse adoption center to place horses we receive from rescue situations.
Broken Oaks horse rescue efforts are funded by donations and staffed by volunteers. One hundred percent of your tax-deductible contributions go directly to the care and feeding of these rescued horses.
