Summit Assistance Dogs
Summit Assistance Dogs is a nonprofit organization that provides highly-skilled assistance dogs for people with disabilities. Occasionally we have dogs for adoption who do not meet the stringent requirements we have for a working assistance dog but who will make excellent pets or perhaps perform well in another working capacity.
To adopt a dog, please first call or e-mail us for more information about the dog you are interested in. If we (and you) feel there is a potentially good match, we will invite you to come spend a little time with the dog and give us a chance to meet you. If you decide you would like to adopt the dog and the adoption is approved by our staff, an adoption form and contract will need to be filled out. Adoption fees range from $150 - $800 depending on the breed, health care expenses, and amount of training invested in the dog.
Please call for directions and to make an appointment.
