Our mission is to provide information about the breed and to place ridgebacks in new homes. Rhodesian Ridgebacks are not for everyone! We are committed to providing approved, qualified, permanent homes to ridgebacks and ridgeback mixes, and, on occasion, select non-ridgeback dogs. WE ARE STRICTLY A FOSTER HOME NETWORK; THERE IS NO KENNEL. For dogs in need in the US and Canada, please go here: www.ridgebackrescue.org. PLEASE NOTE: Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue is currently desperately in need of foster homes. We will be unable to continue our rescue efforts if we do not get more people to foster these wonderful dogs for us. Fostering is an essential element of rescue, allowing the dogs to be thoroughly evaluated, which, in turn, allows us to find the best possible matches for the dogs and their new families.
