Spring Hill Horse Rescue is a 501(C)3 on-profit organization that rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes horses and other animals in need. We have rescued and re-homed over a thousand animals since being founded in 2000. We predominately take in animals that are seized or surrendered during the course of cruelty investigations in Vermont. Spring Hill specializes in large animal cruelty investigations and provides Humane Agents who operate throughout the state of Vermont. We provide educational training for law enforcement and humane agents.
We operate a 15 acre farm in Clarendon, VT, at which our rescued animals receive care and rehabilitation. It is our goal to find the right family for each animal in our care. However, if we do not believe re-homing is in the best of the animal, we will commit to providing for that animal for its remaining years at our farm.
Adopting a friend
Spring Hill tries to match the right horse up with the right family. For more information on our programs and services, including adopting an animal, go to our HomePage. We know the animals that we adopt out very well, as most have spent a considerable time with us in rehabilitation. We strive to make the right match; and we are very familiar with and knowledgeable about the animals in our care.
If there is a specific animal you are interested in, we ask that fill out adoption application and email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then conduct a telephone interview and set up an appointment for you to come to the farm. Due to the nature of our animal cruelty investigations that we do, all visits must be scheduled. We are located at 175 Middle Rd, N. Clarendon, VT 05759.
