Keegan! Now in Vermont!<

NOW IN VERMONT!!!!!

Now in Chittenden County Vermont!

Keegan is a 5 yr old golden retriever male. Keegan is completely trained and LOVES to go for car rides. Keegan didn’t have an easy beginning to life tied up in a barn.

Keegan LOVES people. He is well behaved and well trained!! He would do best in a home without young children. Keegan is a real people dog and although he meets and greets other dogs he prefers the company of people. Keegan would do best as an only pet as he wants to be the one to get all the attention!!

He is a lover and prefers the company of his people to that of other dogs. Keegan is a great dog for someone who wants the companionship of a beautiful golden in the prime of his life. He will reward you with his head in your lap and all the love and companionship you could ever hope for. Keegan deserve to be the only loved pet in the family at this time in his life.

Who We Are

Welcome to Golden Huggs Rescue! << We are a very small group of volunteers who have made it our mission to find loving suitable homes for (otherwise) displaced, abandoned, or stray golden retrievers, golden mixes and labrador retrievers. The dogs have either been relinquished by their owners, found as strays, or abandoned at the shelter door. It is irrelevant to us how they have managed to find themselves at these kill shelters in these circumstances. It is only in their best interest that we try in earnest to get them out. All of our volunteers have been involved in the rescue and placing of dogs for years. All of our volunteers have worked with reputable rescues in the past. We are committed to doing our part in decreasing the numbers of goldens, golden mixes and labs put down at southern shelters. Golden Huggs has recieved its 501c3 non-profit status. We receive no funding at all. All of our expenses are paid out of pocket. We would gladly accept any and all donations and contributions.
