Molly!!
NOW IN VERMONT!!
Molly is a lab mix girl around 14 months old--she looks like a mini-yellow lab with brown eyes and a brown nose. She is a mix but what we do know is that she has all the loving qualities of a lab . She weighs around 40# and is pretty much at her adult size. She has a lot of puppy energy still left and is working on learning manners. She is very intelligent and is willing to learn and please. She is housebroken and will ask to go outside.
Molly would make a wonderful companion for a family, especially one with an active person. At her foster home, she loves playing outside with the 9 year old twins. She loves to chase balls and run about, but still is working on bringing the ball back. She is very loving and loves to give kisses and be close to her human - admittably, she is a couch dog. She is great with other dogs, just wants to play. If you know labs like we know labs you know she is simply a big mush of fun!!! She needs you to show her the way and guide her to being the best she can be.
She loves children and she has no cat issues.
Molly needs a loving home with a patience owner to continue her training. She responds well to correction and loves positive reenforcement. Her foster dad, Greg (email: gsm119@aol.com) has begun working with her, and she is doing well. She is currently in Addison Countyy
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THESE PUPS ARE RESCUES, THEIR BREED MIX AND BIRTH DATES ARE UNKNOWN BUT WITH THE HELP OF OUR VET WE MAKE THE BEST EDUCATED GUESS. MOST OF THE PUPS ARE IN FOSTER CARE DOWN SOUTH WITH A RESCUE GROUP THAT WE HELP ~ It doesn't matter where the pups are from, it only matters where they live the rest of their lives.

Who We Are
Welcome to Golden Huggs Rescue!
We are a very small group of volunteers who have made it our mission to find loving suitable homes for (otherwise) displaced, abandoned, or stray golden retrievers, golden mixes and labrador retrievers.
The dogs have either been relinquished by their owners, found as strays, or abandoned at the shelter door. It is irrelevant to us how they have managed to find themselves at these kill shelters in these circumstances. It is only in their best interest that we try in earnest to get them out.
All of our volunteers have been involved in the rescue and placing of dogs for years. All of our volunteers have worked with reputable rescues in the past. We are committed to doing our part in decreasing the numbers of goldens, golden mixes and labs put down at southern shelters.
Golden Huggs has recieved its 501c3 non-profit status. We receive no funding at all. All of our expenses are paid out of pocket. We would gladly accept any and all donations and contributions.
Adopting a friend
We require a completed application and a home visit prior to adoption. Please visit www.goldenhuggs.org to complete our online application.
