Who We Are
Northern New England Dog Rescue is a group of volunteers dedicated primarily to saving URGENT dogs from High Kill shelters in Connecticut and rehoming them in New England. For more information about our organization please go to www.nnedr.org.
Adopting a friend
Please visit our website www.nnedr.org and fill out an application if you are interested in adopting or fostering a dog. We do check vet and landlord references. We do charge an adoption fee of $250 that can vary from dog to dog depending on their vet expenses, this fee covers the veterinary expenses and care for the dog. We base all adoption decisions on the home we feel will be best suited for the specific dog. We do not adopt to people under 21 years of age.
We are always looking for good foster homes in VT & NH. If you would like to make a difference in a rescue dog's life by fostering PLEASE visit our website and read about our foster network. Foster lengths vary from two days to eight weeks depending on the dog.
Come Visit Us!
After we have reviewed your application and contacted your references we will call you to set up a visit. We are a network of volunteers, all of the dogs are fostered in our homes. We do not have shelter hours.
