Our Featured Pet...

Joey is a one year old neutered male Hound mix. He is exhuberant, sweet, and very friendly! Joey is great with other dogs and loves to play. He would love a home with someone who could take him to the dog park to play, play, play! Joey is housetrained, cratetrained, and is working on his manners. He is safe to live with children but is enthusiastic and may knock over the little ones! Joey rides well in the car and loves to go for outings! Check him out on our adoptable dogs page!

Random Rescue currently has lots of dogs and would love to find responsible foster homes. If you are interested in helping please let us know!

Who We Are

Random Rescue offers a unique adoption service. Dogs that are available through our rescue have been through a detailed temperament evaluation to ensure that they will make suitable and safe pets. Once available rescue dogs either live happily in our home, in the Lodge, or are put into foster care. All rescue dogs are well exercised, trained daily for basic obedience and manners, and are working on their crate training and house training. We want our rescue dogs to easily integrate into their new home and that is what we strive for. In the write up for each dog, they are given a color. Yellow Dogs are family dogs. They can be owned by first time dog owners and families with children. These dogs have minimal behavioral issues and are sweet gentle companions. Yellow dogs do not have behavioral issues that include aggression or anxiety. Blue Dogs are recommended for families with children over 10 years old. These dogs usually need more training and might not be the best choice for first time dog owners. Behavioral issues may include mild aggression towards other animals or slight anxiety issues. Blue dogs do not show aggression to humans beyond adolescent mouthiness. Red Dogs are recommended for experienced dog homes only. These dogs usually need a job to keep their minds stimulated. Most red dogs are working dogs meaning they should take classes in agility, fly ball or herding. Ideally these dogs will go to breed specific homes that know exactly what they are getting. Random Rescue will provide continued support for red dog families throughout their lives if needed. Often, red dogs have behavioral issues such as resource guarding objects, stranger anxiety, and separation anxiety. These pups need loving homes just like the yellows and blues and we want to make sure that both humans and dogs are safe. Adoption Fees: Dogs over 6 months: $250 (These dogs have been altered, de-wormed, and are current on vaccines. Most have been heartworm tested). Puppies under 6 months: $200 with $50 back after spay/neuter (These pups have been de-wormed and are current on vaccines).

Adopting a friend

All potential adopters must fill out our application. This is required before adopters can meet the dog that interests them. Once approved, a contract is signed before dogs are released into their new home.
