Who We Are
Northern Greyhound Adoptions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding loving, responsible homes for retired racing greyhounds. NGA is operated by volunteers and supported solely by donations. NGA places dogs in the United States and Canada (in Canada thru T-Legs.com).Adopting a friend
Before placement all NGA Greyhounds receive: veterinary examination, spay or neuter, heartworm test, rabies vaccination, distemper/parvo vaccination, routine worming and flea dip, grooming, nail clipping & ear cleaning.With adoption we include a health certificate, ID tag, and a new collar and leash, they will also go home to you with a muzzle for safety as they learn the ropes of living in a home. Registration papers are included when available.
An adoption fee of $200.oo U.S. is charged to partially offset the cost of these services.

News
We are always accepting donations to the kennel including: paper towels, laundry detergent, blankets, toys, soap, grooming products, etc. Monetary donations are always appreciated! We also collect returnable bottles for the dogs. We greatly appreciate any donation.We are looking for volunteers for meet-and-greets. Please call and find out dates and times. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
We are now accepting donations for our yard sales, they start on Memorial Day weekend and run thru the Summer months every other weekend weather permitting. Thank you for all of your help and support!
Our Annual Reunion will be held on Sunday June 28th, 2009 from 10-3. Please join us with your Greyhound. There are games for everyone, food, vendors and much much more.
