We can only continue our life saving efforts with your Support! Thanks. Your on-line donation goes entirely to support the medical, food, shelter needs of the animals in our care! We have NO PAID STAFF!

SOS Save our Strays is operated by a private family, Lisa & Roy Haynes, in the mountains of Vermont. We have donated our home and time to take in unwanted, abused and neglected animals and give them everything they need until a new and forever home is found. Although we try to never turn away any animal in need in our area, we are restricted by our funding and space.

We have devoted our own time and resources to rescue many animals from overcrowded shelters where they are destined for "euthanasia". We have rescued as many of these animals that funds will allow. We also try to rehabilitate as many as possible for a second chance for a new and loving home.

We operate soley from monies directly out of our pockets and donations from private individuals for food and medical care.

SOS Save Our Strays is dedicated to sheltering and sustaining the lives of companion animals. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. SOS, Save Our Strays is run by all volunteers..this means ALL the donations go directly to the care of our animals... WE HAVE NO PAID STAFF!
