14th Annual WALK FOR THE ANIMALS!

Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Battery Park on Burlington's Waterfront
Walk Page.
Check-in begins @ 9:30

You can visit our Walk Page or read on to learn more and to register.

We are thrilled to host our 14th Annual Walk for the Animals on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Battery Park in Burlington. The Walk will take place rain or shine. For anyone who is interested in participating in this fun, community celebration, you can register online or create your own fundraising page, download registration and pledge forms.

This event is not only a great celebration of the bond that people share with animals, but it is our most important annual fundraiser. Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 through the support of business sponsors and the pledges that are collected by YOU- our Walkers. We can only be successful with your help!
Here's how you can change the life of a homeless animal:

1. Register for the Walk ;

2. Set a goal and collect pledges before the event & bring them with you to Battery Park on June 8th. You only need to raise a minimum of $25 to participate and each participant will receive a special t-shirt at the event if $100 or more is raised(while supplies last). Once you register, we will email you information so that you have everything you need to raise funds;

3. Enjoy a great day & the good feelings that come with providing homeless animals with the food, veterinary care, and shelter they need until they find new homes!

The Walk will begin and end at Battery Park with the path being a combination of city streets and paved trails. As always, leashed dogs are encouraged to participate in the Walk (but not required).

You can register as an Individual or as a Team. Teams consist of 3 or more people who choose to walk and register together and raise a minimum of $500. Prizes will be awarded to the individuals and teams who raise the most money for HSCC.

For more information or to register, visit our Walk Page, or call HSCC at (802) 862-0135 x16.
