We Are
Since its beginning in 1901, the Humane Society of Chittenden County has been dedicated to providing a safe haven for homeless and unwanted animals. The Society continues to care for over 1,500 homeless, abandoned, and neglected animals annually. The Humane Society of Chittenden County is a private, non-profit organization. The shelter receives no state or federal funding, and operates entirely through private support of individuals and businesses. OUR
