Our Mission
The Goochland County Animal Shelter & Adoption Center is a municipal pound serving Goochland County, Virginia. We are located in central Virginia, twenty minutes West of Richmond off of Interstate 64.
We are located at 1900 Hidden Rock Ln. Maidens, VA 23102.

Adoption Policy
All of the animals at our shelter leave with age appropriate vaccinations and many have been spayed/neutered. If they haven't, you will sign a contract stating that the animal you are adopting will be fixed. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested. Animal are also dewormed and receive flea/tick treatment.

Female Dogs: $65.00
Male Cats: $40.00
Female Cats: $50.00
