Our Featured Pet...
Blackie the Bombay is our featured pet. He is a solid black Bombay cat. He is large and muscular and has a beautiful coat. He was abandoned at the Hopeman Parkway Food Lion in 2008. He was there for at least a year. He was being fed and then he was trapped for neutering in 2009. He has been in Foster care for some time now and needs a single cat home, with no other pets. We have had two people call about one of our cats up for adoption. This is very exciting news for us and we hope that people will continue to visit us on Petfinder. We will have new cats for adoption added every week. Please visit us often to see the new additiions. Who We Are
Humanitarians of Pet Education is a nonprofit animal help group that became incorporated in January of 1988. Our mission is to provide spaying/neutering assistance, to educate, to network to find homes for orphans and strays and to help with veterinary services as funds permit. Hope has financed over 700 spays and neuters since 1998, and relocated and placed kittens, cats, ferals and dogs. Hope has provided financial assistance to dozens of animal emergencies.

We do not have a shelter but we welcome a visit to our foster homes to pick out a sweet pet for adoption.
