Meet George! George is active but easy going and loves people. He gets along great with kids, other dogs and cats. He currently is being fostered in a house with 2 other dogs. George is a very loving dog and enjoys leaning on you, resting his chin on you and snuggling on the couch. He is willing to please and listens very well to someone who is firm but gentle. His intelligence, paired with his high motivation for treats and attention, suggests that it would be easy to teach him new tricks. He has learned the rules of his foster home very quickly.

Who We Are
The King George Animal Rescue League is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization providing food, shelter, medical care, and TLC to homeless and abused companion animals in our community and surrounding communities. We rely heavily on the enormous efforts of volunteers to raise operating funds necessary for our focus on spaying and neutering. We also accept private donations and receive grant aid to further our efforts to reduce pet overpopulation.

Adopting a friend
All animals seen on this site are available for adoption from the King George Animal Rescue League unless otherwise noted. Adopters must sign a contract of spay/neuter requirements. There is a $175 adoption fee for altered dogs, $125 for unaltered dogs, $125 for altered cats and $75 for unaltered cats. Submit an application by clicking here!

Come Visit Us!
On the second Sunday of every month, our foster pets are taken to the Massaponnax PetSmart so that the public can meet them. If you are interested in meeting a specific pet, please call ahead or email to check on our schedule and to see which pets will be at the store. Since we have no facility, and all of our pets are fostered in our personal homes, we request that you submit an adoption application before meeting our pets in our homes.
