Who We Are
The Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter is an all volunteer, not-for-profit organization. We are a 501(c)(3) organization so your contributions are deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Our mission is to:
• Promote the adoption of homeless animals from the Fairfax County Animal Shelter;
• Educate the community on the responsible care of their pets;
• Promote spaying and neutering; and
• Provide support and care to animals in the Fairfax County Animal shelter suffering from illness or injury resulting from neglect, abandonment, and abuse.
