Fostering is one of the hardest and most rewarding jobs in rescue. Just to know that if it was not for you that animal may not of had the chance to find a new home makes it all worth while. If you think you could find it in your heart to foster one of our wonderful babies!!

Who We Are
The Humane Society of Caroline County is a 501(c)3 non-profit voluntary organization dedicated to the humane treatment and imporving the welfare of animals. We exist solely by the donations of time, money, and adoption fees. We do not receive federal, state or local tax dollars. Our organization is run by the principles that every life has value and is worthy of respect and protection. We believe that animals contribute positively to the health, happiness, and quality of human life. We wish to serve both animals and people by strengthening the human-animal bond as we build a more humane community. Our mission is to provide positive actions and solutions to all animal related concerns.
Adopting a friend
All pets available for adoption will be spayed/neutered and up to date on all their shots. They will also be on heartworm and flea prevention. A home check and vet reference check is required to adopt any of our dogs. To read more about our adoption process please visit our website at www.carolinehumanesociety.org. The adoption fee is $100.00. The adoption fee is tax deductible.

We do not have a shelter, all of our pets are placed in foster homes until we can find the perfect home for them. Please volunteer!!!
