We are in URGENT NEED of foster familes! Our group is small and our ability to help these little loves is limited to the space that we have available. All foster families must meet the same requirements as our adoptive familes. Vet care is provided (by the group) to the cats in the foster system but we do ask the foster familes to provide food, water, litter and of course lots of love. If you have an interest in being a foster family please email us for additional information or stop by and chat with us at Petsmart!
Who We Are
We are a small non-profit home based cat rescue group. We do not have a shelter, all of the cats are cared for in our homes. This allows us to get to know the cats very well and will help us in placing them in the right "forever family". We are a part of the Raleigh County Animal rescue that is based in Coal City, West Virginia. Many of our cats and kittens come from that area.
Adopting a friend
An adoption application and contract are required for all cats that we place. The application has many questions that help us understand exactly what you are looking for in a feline companion. If you are interested in adopting from us please email us at pwrcar@gmail.com and we will forward our application to you. After you complete it and return it to us via email we will contact you.
Our adoption fee is $100 for kittens, and $125 for cats that have been spayed/neutered. This fee helps to cover vet care that has been provided to your new friend in addition to the other critters in our care.
Come visit us !
Currently we have a variety of cats and kittens available for adoption. Visit us on Saturdays and Sundays at both the Manassas and Gainesville Petsmart stores. We are usually at Petsmart in Gainesville the 2nd and 4th weekend of the month. To confirm if we will be there please email to inquire about our current schedule. If you are considering adopting from us we may be able to arrange for you to see the cat or kitten you are interested in in his or her current foster home
