Who We Are
We have lived in Caroline County just over 12 years. Before we even moved into our home someone dumped a litter of puppies and a cat in our driveway - the cat is part of our family now and we found good homes for all the puppies. Abandoned animals/strays/hunting dogs left for dead are an ongoing problem in this county as well as surrounding counties. 4PAWZ Animal Rescue consists of 3 residents of Caroline County providing food, shelter, medical care, and TLC to homeless and abused companion animals in our community and surrounding communities. We work with other area rescues that have 501C3 status with help in spaying and neutering all our rescues. We also work with other rescue organizations in placing our companion animals in their forever homes. We are not affiliated with any shelter.
Adopting a friend
All animals seen on this site are available for adoption from 4PAWZ Animal Rescue unless otherwise noted. All animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on shots, on heartworm preventative and flea and tick prevention. Adopters must sign a contract of spay/neuter requirements if the animal is not already altered. There is a $200 adoption fee for all dogs/puppies. There is a $75 adoption fee for cats/kittens. NOTE for Dog and Cat Adoption Fees: The adoption fees cover all vetting to date of the companion animal. All are current on all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, on Heartworm preventative and Flea/Tick preventative. In a special circumstance where an animal has not been spayed/neutered there will be an adjustment in the adoption fee.
