Who We Are
The Hopeful Dog Rescue is a small rescue in southwest Virginia, providing sanctuary and healthcare for abandoned and relinquished dogs. They are then rehomed into loving, permanent homes. THDR is a firm believer in a lifetime commitment to companion animals and an advocate of spay/neuter to prevent suffering of unwanted animals. We believe that the happiest animals are cherished, fed healthy food, and given the best healthcare possible within a person's means.
