These beds are wonderful for our Senior Cats and litters of kittens as well as our small dogs and puppies.
NewsSEPTEMBER 1, 2009-- Since closing to the public a year ago, understandbly, our funding is almost depleted. We could certainly use cat litter and dry cat food. We have been feeding the "indoor formula" cat food. Any brand is greatly appreciated. What little funding is left is used for the vetting of the animals.

Critter Care Rescue is a small/private rescue located in Blackstone, VA. Critter Care was organized around 1998 to help our furry friends who can not help themselves.
As of June 2007, we can no longer accept owner surrender animals and will be concentrating on finding great homes for the many animals we already have in our shelter.
---SEPTEMBER 1, 2009---though the shelter is closed to the public for surrendering animals, we still end up with the occasional litter of kittens found at dumpsters. Most of the above items have been purchase by us and through small donations we have received from time to time. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
