The Fauquier SPCA is a private non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of animals. Our primary goals are to provide permanent loving homes for all of our adoptable animals and to reduce the pain and suffering associated with pet over-population.
Adopting a friend
The Fauquier SPCA strives to place all of their adoptable pets in permanent loving homes. We require an adoption application and home checks are done in some instances.
Our adoption fees for dogs are $115.00, which includes spay or neuter, distemper and bordetella vaccinations, heartworm test if applicable, collar, microchip and ID tag.
Our adoption fees for puppies are $135.00, which includes spay or neuter, distemper and bordetella vaccinations, heartworm test if applicable, collar, microchip and ID tag.
Adoption fees for cats are $95.00, which includes spay or neuter, distemper shot, FELV/FIV test, collar and ID tag and cardboard carrier.
Additional assistance is offered through adoption counseling, post-adoption phone calls, behavioral training and free health exams by local veterinarians.
