We are a small group of volunteers that care for and foster Boston Terriers and occasionaly other small breed dogs in our homes.
WE ARE NOT A SHELTER LIKE A CITY OR COUNTY SHELTER
WE DO NOT HAVE VISITATION HOURS ALL BOSTONS FOSTERED WITH US LIVE IN OUR HOMES AS PART OF OUR FAMILES UNTIL THEY ARE ADOPTED
What can you do
All donations are welcome, we would love donations of AvoDerm (available at Pet Smart and PetCo) our preferred food as well as other holistic premium grade treats. Gift certificates to any area pet supply store. Toys, blankets, dog beds and harnesses are always welcome.
We always need money to help with vet bills any amount is greatly appreciated. Please contact me at the email above if you'd like to send a care package or a donation in any amount to help Boston's in need.
Who We Are
We are a small rescue serving the state's of VA, NENC,MD,DE & DC. We will help any Boston Terrier any age and needs. We also take other small breeds on a space available basis.
Adopting a friend
We require a completed application which will include reference checks and a visit to your home. Please send an email request for an application and we'll send one out as soon as possible.
Our Vet's do a comprehensive wellness examination including at least 9 blood test as well as heart worm testing to assure that they are healthy. All animals are spayed/neutered, and up to date on shots and micro chipped before leaving ODBTR.
Adoption fees vary depending on the dog listed, they range from $100. to $450. Fees depend on the age and needs of the individual Boston. In most cases our expenses are more than our adoption fees so please do not ask us to discount our fees. When you adopt from us you adopt a healthy family member who only needs a heartworm prevention refill and a get to know me visit to your vet.
