Donations
Donations can be sent to: The Clarke County Humane Foundation, P.O. Box 713 Berryville, VA 22611. The Clarke County Human Foundation is now paying for altering of all animals we adopt to Clarke County residents and assisting with the cost of the altering of pets adopted from here to adjoining counties. They also pay for emergency surgeries and needed vet care for our shelter animals. The Clarke County Humane Foundation has also started a new fund. It is called the "Vidy Fund". This fund is to help needy citizens with emergency pet care. It is in the remembrance of the late Vidy Lloyd. Clarke County loss a huge, devoted pet lover when she passed away. Help her memory live on forever. Please be a sponsor and donate to the Clarke County Humane Foundation.
Also the shelter is accepting: cat litter, cat treats, cat toys, cat can and dry food, kitten food, dog treats, dog toys, dog dry and can food, puppy food, paper towels, laundry detergent, latex gloves (large), bleach, copier paper, Windex, dish soap, towels, blankets, scrubber sponges and large heavy trash bags, small stainless steel water bowls and Large heavyweight crocks. .

Adoption Fees
There is a $10.00 adoption fee for all cats and dogs adopted from our shelter. We only except CHECKS AND MONEY ORDERS. Animals old enough to be altered will be done upon completion of adoption contract. The Humane foundation will pay 100% to 0% of the expense depending on where the adopter lives. Puppies not old enough to be altered can ONLY be adopted to Clarke County residents. By 6 months of age the adopter must take the puppies to Hillside Vet in Charlestown, WV to be altered.

take a left onto west main / Business Rt 7
Once on business 7, follow the Winchester directions.
