We can give you information on reduced price spay and neuter programs. Please help us control the pet population and reduce the number of pets put to sleep each year in shelters!

Donations
Donations can be sent to: The Clark County Humane Foundation, and mail to P.O. Box 713 Berryville, Va.22611. The Clark County Human Foundation is now paying for spaying and neutering of all animals adopted from our shelter. They also pay for emergency surgeries and needed vet care.

Adopting a friend
All animals old enough to be altered must be done before they leave the shelter and can be adopted out to any county or state. You must live in surrounding counties to adopt an animal under 5 months old.
Adoption Fees
It is $10.00 to adopt any animal from our shelter. We only except CHECK or MONEY ORDERS. Animals old enough to be altered will be done upon completion of adoption contract, at our Humane Society's expense. Animals not old enough to be altered must be taken to Hillside Vet in Charlestown WV by 6 months of age by the adopter but at no cost to the adopter. Human Society covers all altering and rabies shot fees.
Directions
From route 7, take business route 7 into Berryville (West Main Street) come to Westwood road (the road right next to the DG Cooley School). Take a right onto Westwood. Go past the Clark County High School and take the next right (past the 35 mph sign) onto Ramsburg Lane. We are at the end of Ramsburg Lane.
