The Humane Society of Culpeper (Virginia) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that all companion animals in our community enjoy loving and responsible care. Through the efforts of hundreds of dedicated volunteers and donors, we offer foster care and adoption services for abused or abandoned animals, as well as low-cost spay/neuter services. Each year, we are able to give many animals a second chance at life.

For information on becoming a member, please leave a message at 540-727-7554, and we will be happy to mail a membership application to you. Donations are always gratefully accepted and will always be put directly towards the dogs and cats.

Adoption appointments may also be scheduled directly with foster families.
Adoption fees for dogs are $75- which includes spay/neuter, heartworm testing, appropriate vaccinations including rabies, and deworming. Cat adoption fees are $55 which includes spay/neuter, feline leukemia testing, appropriate vaccinations including rabies, and deworming.
