CODY AND WINSTON NEED YOUR HELP
CODY is a 1.5 year old male who was left at a shelter due to a hip defect requiring surgery to correct.
All Cody wants is to be a young guy who can run and play like other Westies his age. He is depending upon us to fulfill his dream!
WINSTON is a 3 year old male whose allergies were allowed to progress until an infection spread throughout his body.
This infection has resulted in numerous problems which, as his photos attest, include loss of most of his fur and extremely dry, itchy, flaky skin.
The good news is that Winston's problems are completely curable with immediate medical care and a lifetime of good dog food, exercise, and love! He wants to be relieved of the horrible itching so he can rest comfortably and begin to overcome the infection.
TO HELP
Westie Rescue is asking Westie lovers to assist us in funding the necessary medical care for these dogs.
Donations: ALL levels of financial support are urgently needed. Click on "Medical Fund" to make a donation to assist us secure the money needed for medical care of these Westies. [This is a secure site. Westie Rescue is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.]
Except in special cases, Westie Rescue places incoming Westies with people who have filled out our adoption application and are ALREADY ON our adoption candidate list.
To become an Adoption Candidate list, please fill out the adoption application on the Westie Rescue Web site, sponsored by Westie Rescue Mid-Atlantic. Most of our rescues are quickly adopted (by people who have already registered) before we have time to post them here.
If you are not in the Mid-Atlantic area (we require personal home visits), your application will be sent to the region where you reside so Westie Rescue individuals and organizations in your area will be aware of your desire to adopt a dog.
If you know of SOMEONE WHO NEEDS HELP WITH A WESTIE or a WESTIE WHO NEEDS A NEW HOME, please contact us on their behalf by filling out the "Dog in Trouble Report" form on our web site. (Only for use when dogs need help...not for adoption information!).
Please provide a means of reaching the person or shelter with the Westie such as a phone number.

The more caring people who are actively involved, the less chance that Westies in need will fail to be helped by the rescue system in the US and be euthanized by owners or in shelters.
Just as all other rescues and shelters always desparately need donations, Westie Rescue also appreciates every contribution made to keep our rescue program going.
Donations are used ONLY as necessary to ensure that Westies are rescued, rehabilitated, and adopted.
