Give a homeless dog or cat (or maybe even two!) a new "leash" on life. Shelter animals have proven time and time again to be the very best pets. They're intelligent little furry people who KNOW when they've been rescued, and they'll reward you with unconditional love beyond your wildest imaginations. Even if you're not ready for the commitment required to adopt a new pet, please support the homeless pets in your area in other ways. Donate to your favorite animal charity, or volunteer at your local animal shelter. A little bit goes a long way, so please find it in your heart to donate the whole year through.
