Chance
Chance is an extremely beautiful and unique siamese mix. He is long & lean with the most striking blue eyes. Chance is a very loving companion to his human friends and loves to rub against your legs. He has done very well with the children he has been exposed to. Chance isn’t fond of other cats but is capable of co-existing after a proper introduction. He would be happiest as an only pet. Chance is a low maintenance boy and enjoys sleeping in the window sill or on his favorite chair in his foster dad's office. He promises to provide his humans with all the love & affection they desire if only given a chance!! PS: Chance is CRAZY about catnip!
Who We Are
CAWS is a no-kill animal welfare and rescue organization specializing in feral (wild) cat colony management and the adoption of homeless pets. Feral cats are trapped, spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and returned to the colony. This method of colony control is more effective and humane than euthanasia at decreasing cat numbers, nuisance, disease and suffering. Our adoption program pairs abandoned dogs and cats with new loving families. Rescued animals come primarily from municipal animal shelters and live in volunteer foster homes until they are found permanent homes. Since its inception CAWS has saved thousands of animals in need, finding loving homes for hundreds of animals annually.

CAWS is a volunteer-based organization, spending less than 4% on general expenses. CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available.
