Who We Are

Intermountain Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization, dedicated to helping reduce the unwanted pet population by encouraging spay/neuter programs and finding good homes for animals abandoned at the local shelters. You can email us about any of our animals or about our adoption days by writing to: intermountain-animal-rescue@ hotmail.com.

Adopting a friend

When you adopt a pet from our organization, we require that you have a fully fenced yard and that the animal is going to be a family member, having access to the home. We sometimes offer exceptions to that rule, depending upon the individual animal, however. We expect that our animals will NEVER be put on a chain or left in a kennel, 24/7 and we will investigate our prospective adoptors, if we feel the adoption contracts have been violated. If a prospective adoptor thinks that our standards are too severe, we encourage them to seek out and save the life of a pet from the local shelter, where they don't have as strict of policies.

Come Visit Us!

We currently do all of our rescue work out of our volunteer foster homes. We are still searching for a piece of property where we can set up our pet facility. Until then, we will be holding events at the local Petco stores and have animals available for adoption on display.
