Our Companion List

Our Featured Companion...

In Memory of Our Beloved Companion and Friend Gage 2000-2007 Gage was left behind by the previous owners of this home/rescue we now live in so we found ourselves very lucky to have added a new member to our family with the new home. Gage quickly learned what it was like to actually live in a home of his own after he once learned how to walk up a few stairs and to walk on a wood floor. He came down with kidney disease close to 3 years after we all moved in and was put on a special diet. 15 months later he went in to renal failure. We did all we could to try and make him well once again as we did when his first diagnosis came in but it was too late for our little man. Gage was such a good dog and added so much to this home, his unconditional love he gave so freely to all that came in contact with him was overwhelming. There was no one that Gage just didn't love. He was our boy and we miss him terribly. Afterall, this was his home before it was ours. Until we meet again at Rainbow Bridge Gage please always know how much we dearly love you and miss you.. Gage

We deeply apologize and regret to inform the publc, you as our loving and caring support but we are at this time unable to accept cats at this facility until we are able to either get some loving fosters families or build a place to house them. We are deeply sorry and have tried to do our best but we will need help to build this area for the cats that we get so many calls on, on a daily basis.. We need your help in order to help them.. We are in the process of making many wonderful changes within our organization. We hope that you will all be patient with us as we make this an even better animal organization and sanctuary for all of our rescued Friends that are In Need.. Thank you so much for your kindness, patience and your understanding.. Friends In Need Animal Rescue/Sanctuary

Companion Turnovers

Please be aware we rarely have room to take in any dogs at our home based facility as we always seem to be full due to the small amount of dogs we are allowed to have on our property at any given time until a building can be constructed. If you absolutely need to have your dog placed we would be more than happy to assist you in every way possible but you will need to foster your dog until we are able to find the best possible home for him/her. Because we have an application that needs to be filled out and also do home inspections on every dog we place it may take a little longer but the outcome is usually worth the wait. We want to make sure s/he will have the best care possible at their new home. We also ask for a small turnover fee to help with vaccinations, implanting microchips and spays and neuters. We do not accept cats here at this time as we are not set up to facilitate them. We apologize and are working on this situation.
F.I.N is working on a new (Adoptoin/Rescue) Center in Eagle Mountain, Utah. We are a 501c3 Non-Profit organization so your donations are tax deductable and very much needed to help us build our Rescue Center and to care for their general and medical care needs.

Who We Are

Friends-In-Need Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization and DOES NOT rescive money from government grants. We rely soley on those donations given to us by those that love and care for all of those animals in need. Formed to help fight the battle of the over population of our companion friends and to aide in the education for care, training, treatment, spay and neuter of these companions. Then to finally put an end to the euthanising of healthy loving companions that could have had the opportunity of a loving home. We work with shelters and other rescue organizations in order to save the abused, abandoned and neglected companion animals that have been tossed as nothing but a commodity. We offer trained foster and care center's for these animals until they are carefully placed into permanent, healthy, loving and safe home's. We promote spaying and neutering and offer assistance for information on low cost Veternarians. We will also offer assistance in discount training and assist with behavioral problems to try and make any transitions for our companions as well as their families as easy as possible and to assure a permanent and happy home.

Adopting a friend

Our adoption procedures are strict, this is for the security of our companion animals. We do not adopt "on the spot " and we always do follow up checks. All of our companions are rescues. F.I.N. tries to stay away from owner turnovers and work mainly with rescues from high kill shelters but will do what ever we can to try and help you keep your companion with your family.
