Daphne is a medium-sized yellow lab mix (probably mixed with hound based on her baying bark). She's an energetic, playful girl that loves to run and play. In fact, Daphne would be the perfect jogging buddy. She has a good nature and gets along well with both dogs and cats. Come and see this friendly girl before it's too late!
Puppies and kittens are cute, but shelters are full of them. So please --- SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR PET.
A lot of people have superstitions about black cats and dogs. However, they make very good pets.
About us
Cedar City Animal Shelter is a small municipal facility. There are two full-time animal control officers and two part-time staff. The office is open Monday from 8 AM to 12 PM, Tuesday thru Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM. It is a high-kill facility due to high volume and lack of space. Adoptable animals are kept as long as space permits.
Adopting a friend
Our adoption fees are $10 for cats and $25 for dogs. We also charge a refundable sterilization deposit of $25 for all intact animals adopted.
