OUR FEATURED PETS...

Orange Tabby Kitten

She was found with two other kittens, ice cold and starving, living on the streets of Sanpete County. Can you provide her with a happy ending?

UPDATE: LEXI HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

Lexi was in our foster program for almost a year, but has now found a permanent, loving home. We are so happy for Lexi and wish her the best with her new family!

CAN'T ADOPT BUT STILL WANT TO HELP?

DONATE!!!

Donate to Furry Friends and help a shelter animal! Donations make it possible for us to continue our work in helping homeless animals find their forever homes. By donating you will also make it possible for us to take in sick and injured animals that need medical attention. Without donations, we would not be able to pay for extensive surgeries or medical treatments. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation please make checks or money orders payable to Furry Friends Animal Sanctuary and send it to our address below. We are also in need of gently used pet supplies such as blankets, beds, toys, dishes, and carriers. Our animals would greatly appreciate them! You may also donate pet food and treats. Thank you for any help you can give!

EVER THOUGHT OF FOSTERING??

Furry Friends needs foster homes. The more foster homes we have, the more animals we are able to save! Foster homes are true heroes in the eyes of an animal in need. It is a great way in teach your children about compassion and service. Foster animals are great companions for elderly people who do not want to commit to adopting a new pet. All that is asked of you is to provide love and a temporary home. Foster animals are up to date on their vaccines and are spayed/neutered (or will be spayed/neutered when old enough). If you would like to foster please contact us at 435-436-9405 to ask for more info.

What should you do if you find newborn kittens?

"Kitten season" is almost upon us. Around this time of year, we usually get phone calls from people who have found newborn kittens, and aren't sure what to do with them. If this happens to you, please keep a few things in mind. If you happen upon a litter of kittens that appear health, comfortable, and aren't crying loudly, the mother is most likely nearby and has just left to find food for herself. You should not pick up the kittens, instead leave them as they are. However, if you find kittens that are crying loudly and have wondered from the nest, they will need supplemental care. WHO WE ARE

Furry Friends Animal Sanctuary is comprised of a diverse group of Utah County and Sanpete County citizens. Their common bond is a love and respect for pets, as well as pride in our communities. We are a grassroots, nonprofit organization with a mission to educate the public about humane treatment of animals, to place homeless dogs and cats into responsible homes, to promote spaying and neutering, and to eventually build a no-kill animal sanctuary within our community. We are currently affiliated with the No More Homeless Pets in Utah program, which is a model state-wide program with the goal of making Utah a no-kill state.
