Our Pet List

Pet of the Month - ******Molly is such a loving dog, but she is also very strong and powerful so is a little intimidating to most people. She is a lab/Rottie mix and has the best qualities of both breeds. Great with everyone and is a terrific watch dog. If you want a large dog who will also be a guardian and good family member, then Molly is for you.******* Our big Book and Rummage Sale will be on April 25, 26, 27 - Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Wonderful items and books at very reasonable prices. Ten per cent of the proceeds will benefit the Trap/Neuter/Return program in our area. Great prices and great bargains!

Who We Are

We are a small group of volunteers who rescue, foster, and adopt out mainly dogs, pups, cats and kittens. We have also fostered a pot-bellied pig, llamas, horses, ducks, rabbits, chickens and even 4 baby raccoons! We have the animals spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption. Our adoption fees are never over $200. We depend on donations, rummage sales, and other functions for funding. We try to make our foster animals family ready by housebreaking them and teaching them to walk on a lead properly. We have no officers, no committees, no meetings, no dues, and no nonsense!! WE DO NOT SEND OUR FOSTER ANIMALS TO OTHER RESCUE GROUPS OR SHELTERS: we keep them until they are adopted, as we want to meet the new pet parents and know where the animals will be going. We also aid people who have need of a place to keep their pets safely in case of disasters, such as fires and floods. We do not charge them for boarding and do this service because we know how hard it is to find a place for ones' animals since they cannot be taken to people shelters.

Adopting a friend

Prospective adopters are interviewed and screened before they adopt one of the foster animals and we do follow-up calls or visits to ensure the happiness of the families and the pets. The adoption fee for dogs is never over $200 and the fee for cats is never over $30. We want people to have the opportunity to adopt animals at a reasonable price that are spayed/neutered and have their vaccinations.
