Because at Zion Animal Lovers we make sure each rescue will be the best for his or her permanent home.
Some people think our wonderful rescues don't need to find a home because they are fostered at the Doggy Dude Ranch in beautiful Zion Canyon. But really it's just like a camp, it's not a forever home. What it means is these dogs are housebroken, trained, and well cared for...but they can't get the kind of love of a permanent home, with a person or family who will become a best friend. For a dog to find that perfect match is so much better than camp. It means unconditional love! We're thrilled with the people Boomer, Marmaduke, Golda, Molly, Redman (now named Salsa) & Charlie found for their perfect, permanent home! Elvis, a darling hound, found the best family after two years...always worth the wait! And Tiny Moose found a fabulous home with folks from Las Vegas! Gordita, an adorable and elderly Pekinese, continues to have various medical situations. Thanks to all the wonderful donations for her health. WE WORK VERY HARD TO FIND JUST THE RIGHT HOME FOR EACH OF OUR WONDERFUL PETS...could this be you?

Zion Animal Lovers is a locally based animal rescue organization committed to enhancing the lives of dogs and cats in the Zion Canyon (Southern Utah) area through educational programs that ensure responsible pet stewardship. We provide and support low cost/free spay and neuter opportunities, as well as fostering and rehoming homeless pets. ZAL also supports and contributes to like national and local animal organizations.
Adopting a friend: Filly, a professional dog trainer and owner of the Doggy Dude Ranch, where you will meet our adoptees, will work with you after any of these cuties are adopted. All our adoptees are fostered in homes so you will be aware of their habits, interests and needs.
