Dog Licenses, Cat and Dog Vaccinations |

|
City ordinance requires that all dogs over the age of four months be licensed with the City. Licenses are available at the animal shelter or Administrative Services in the city center. Orem City also requires that all dogs and cats are vaccinated against rabies. You must bring proof of the rabies vaccination, from your veterinarian, at the time of licensing in order to obtain a license. Licensing your dog is an annual obligation and license fees are $10.00 for a spayed or neutered dog, $15.00 for an unaltered dog. |

City ordinance requires that dogs and cats are kept contained, whether on the pet owner's property, or anywhere else within the city limits. |

Excessive barking anytime, day or night, is a violation of city ordinance. |

Adopting a Pet... |
|
All animals adopted from the shelter must be sterilized according to state law. The adoption fees paid at the shelter cover the cost of the spay or neuter, rabies vaccination, health exam, and Orem City license, if you live in the city limits. Adoption fee are as follows: |
