Important Information...

Dog Licenses, Cat and Dog Vaccinations

City ordinance requires that all dogs over the age of four months be licensed with the City.  Licenses are available at the animal shelter or Administrative Services in the city center.  Orem City also requires that all dogs and cats are vaccinated against rabies. You must bring proof of the rabies vaccination, from your veterinarian, at the time of licensing in order to obtain a license. Licensing your dog is an annual obligation and license fees are $10.00 for a spayed or neutered dog, $15.00 for an unaltered dog.

Dogs and Cats at Large

City ordinance requires that dogs and cats are kept contained, whether on the pet owner's property, or anywhere else within the city limits.
