FOUR PAWS RESCUE

Our Mission

Four Paws Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that is dedicated to helping homeless dogs and cats. Four Paws has been rescuing dogs and cats since 2000. We rescue stray and abandoned cats, dogs, puppies and kittens from high-kill shelters, place them in caring foster homes (if available) and then adopt them into loving, life-long homes. We have placed over 3,500 companion animals in to loving homes, while enriching the lives of their adoptive families.

Our Dogma

The reason dogs and cats have to be rescued in the first place is that there are too many of them and not enough homes! We believe that the best way to attack the overpopulation problem is to attack the root of the problem - prevent more dogs and cats from being born. Every pet that Four Paws rescues is spayed or neutered before being placed in his/her adoptive home. We strive to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering.

REUSABLE SOIL for SALE!

USU Teaching Greenhouse has gifted us with a large supply of reusable soil to be used as filler dirt, top soil, raised beds, planter boxes, indoor plants soil, etc. It is now available to the public in 20 pound bags (we reuse dog food bags) or by the truckload. Click here to learn about the soil!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES IN LOGAN

Even if you cannot make it to our Saturday adoption events at the Layton PETsMART, we have many Logan volunteer positions. Several cat caregiver/cleaner positions at the Logan PETsMART, staff the Pet Project booth at the Gardner's Market, staff the Caffe Ibis booth at the Gardner's Market, help out with the June Yard Sale.
