Sweet Pea is about a year old. He now has a repaired broken leg.
STORY........
I work in a clinic, this cat was brougt in to my clinic in a trap to be fixed. When we found out that all he does is purr I asked the person that trapped him if I could take him into the program and find this loving cat a home insead of going back out onto the streets. She decided he was sweet so he needed to go live around her house. A month later (5/12/08) the ladies boyfriend calls us to let us know that if we stilled wanted him we could have him but his leg was a little hurt. I said sure.
WELL.........
Sweet Pea is not alittle hurt. His rear left leg has a major break. We were going to go the less expensive route and have it removed. but on the suggested of our vet it was suggested we keep the leg if at all possible. So not really having the money we found a Two vets willing to help us put this wonderful boy together again.
NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP TO COLLECT THE FUNDS IT IS GOING TO TAKE TO CONTINUE THE CARE.

We are going to do something really fun in September. We are going to have a black and white gala. We are focusing on our Black and white cats and kittens. There will be decorations, snacks, fun. Location and time to follow.

^^Rescues like us take in cats and kittens of all ages before the shelters have time to Euthanizethem, But did you know that they can be in a cage for a year or more? It is very important to adopt the adults as fast as the kittens. Most of them are use to being love and running around, so to cage them that long is harder on them, and kittens are not little for very long. Please adopt an adult cat and send a friend to do the same.

**We are working towards opening our own facility within the next year. We would appreciate any help that can be sent our way. We are going to have boarding, grooming and of course the rescue. We are going to make it so any rescue that needs space to save more lives can come in with us. We could really use money, Grooming stuff, storage things, bedding, litterboxes, bowls, anything you can donate to help our cause so we can get up and running faster.
We need to get things donated or raise $75,000 just for supplies, not counting the building and remodeling.**

Spay and Neuter of Salt Lake offers discounted spay & neuter program every day. We encourage you to come participate and help put an end homeless cats.
Male cats will travel miles to find a female in heat, they fight more making them at risk for deadly illnesses and spray to mark there territory. Females that come in an out of heat can get very sick and pregnancy is very hard on their bodies. You can have a perfectly healthy cat and after birth they get very skinny and can get sick very easily. Just don't make your cat you love go through all of that.

Who We Are
Noel O'Neil is a Veterinary Technician that is known for fostering kittens when the shelter need me to. I would then put them up for adoption at varies places, Petsmart, Petco, etc. So I finally decided to actually put out efforts to better use and start my own group and open up the possibilities. I work in a clinic full time and still love to go to the dog park, and adoptions, I never miss the opportunity to spread the word about Spaying and Neutering. I also like to help people where ever I am, nail trimming, talk about diet, play, behavior, etc. I really love what I do.
We have added dogs. Yes can you believe it dogs. Stephanie Peterson is in charge of bringing them on and saving lives. We love working together to give these animals a new life.
We can always use volunteers to come play with us.
Adopting a friend
There have been so many studies done on how having a pet or two in your life will reduce your stress and prolong your own life. Animals are so wonderful for giving unconditional love and kindness. When you are down they are always there to pick you up again.
Come Visit Us!
We are at the PetSmart in Taylorsville two weekends a month. If you want to see someone before we are at the events call us we will line you up with the right foster home. @@
