SNIPSA’s mission is threefold: to provide for the medical needs of rescued animals; to find permanent placement for the animals; and to educate pet owners and the general public on the importance of spaying, neutering, and the principles of responsible of pet ownership.
After careful selection at a stray animal facility, the rescue animals live in foster homes where they receive medical attention and opportunities to interact with people and other animals until they can be matched with their new permanent home. They are vaccinated, surgically altered, and treated for various medical conditions before being offered for adoption. A nominal fee partially covers these expenses.Upon arrival for adoption, new owners MUST come with a collar, leash and tag with the adopter's name, address and phone number. The pet's name may be added if you know his or her name at the time of adoption. This is a non-negotiable policy of SNIPSA.
SNIPSA offers a seven (7) day grace period starting on the day of adoption. If, after the seventh day the person (s) who adopted a dog (s) or cat (s) wish to return the animal (s) they may do so. After the seventh day grace period the adoption fee is non refundable and will be considered a donation to SNIPSA, Inc.
