Animals in the Collin County Animal Services Shelter are waiting for their current or future owners.
All stray animals are held for at least 6 days to give their owners time to find them if they are lost.
Once their 6 day stray hold is up they are available for adoption to the public.
There is no fee to adopt from this facility, but the adopter must provide proof of spay and neuter within 30 days or can receive a citation from the County.
There is no vet currently on staff, all animals receive core vaccines upon intake at this shelter. However, it is the adopter's responsibility for heartworm test, internal parasite treatment, spay/neuter and rabies vaccine.
