Who We Are
We are dedicated to the Vizsla. Our dogs are housed throughout Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico in loving foster homes. We take in pure-bred Vizslas from shelters and owner turn-ins.
Adopting a friend
We are NOT a shelter but rather a pure breed rescue organization affiliated with the Vizsla Club of America and funded through the Vizsla Club of American Welfare Foundation. Generally the animals we rescue are owner surrendered or shelter rescues. These Vizslas are believed to be purebred and are fostered in private homes with generous volunteer families. We strive to make the best match possible between families and dogs to ensure a successful forever placement using applications and home studies. We will provide continuing education and support, if needed, for the life of the dog. All dogs placed for adoption are spayed/neutered (or will be as soon as health issues are solved) and all shots will be current. An adoption fee will be requested of the adoptive family to cover the costs of the healthcare of the dog.

To be considered for adopting a rescue Vizsla, please email me at the address below and I will send you our adoption application and any specific info about the breed that you request. You can either email or fax it back. We will review your questionaire and then call you to go over your application and arrange a home visit. Once you are approved as an adoptive home, we begin the process of matching a dog in need of a forever home with what you are looking for in your adopted Vizsla.
