Adopting a friend
The mission of the Calhoun County Humane Society is to find loving homes for dogs and cats that are rescued from the local animal shelter and to encourage responsible pet ownership through public education. We are a non-profit, tax-deductible, all-volunteer organization.
An approved adoption application is required prior to adoption. Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $75 for cats. This fee covers the cost of testing (heartworms for dogs; feline leukemia/FIV for cats), vaccinations, and spaying/neutering.

Hours are10:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday thru Friday and 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday.
