Torpedeo is a great ittle dog with a great personality! He is much cuter than his photos.
He loves to run and play! Torpedo is sweet boy who has lots of love to share. He enjoys playing and having fun. He likes to be petted and is a good boy! Torpedo would love to have a loving furrever home soon!
All dogs receive their first canine booster, a dose of worming medication, heartworm tested and are micro chipped!
All adopted pets are eligible for 1 month of shelter health care insurance!

Who We Are
Animal Services is a division of the Police Department. Our goal is to protect the health and safety of both humans and animals in the community. Animal Services promotes the humane treatment of animals and encourages responsible pet ownership. Animal Services aims to provide both professional and reliable services for the citizens and animals of Watauga.

Adopting a friend
The selected animal shall be heartworm tested (if the animal is a dog over six months of age), microchipped, given a dose of intestinal worming medication, and either a feline (FRCP) vaccination or canine (DA2PPv) vaccination.
All adopters shall sign the adoption contract, stating that the animal adopted shall be spayed or neutered and vaccinated against rabies within thirty (30) days of the adoption. Animal Services may extend the deadline only when a written report from a veterinarian indicated that an extension is necessary for the health of the animal.
The adopter will be advised to take the pet to their veterinarian, at the adopter’s expense, as soon as possible to have the animal examined and for advice as to what preventative measures and vaccinations are necessary to keep the animal in good health.
The adoption fee is $30.
