The Denton Humane Society is a private, not-for-profit organization chartered in 1972 for the purpose of assisting animals in Denton County. In addition,DHS seeks to foster a sense of empathy and compassion among the general population toward the role and place of animals in an enlightened society.
Adopting a friend
All of our animals are kept in foster homes and may be adopted after an interview and visit with the foster family. Our adoption are $100 for cats and $150 for dogs and include microchip, necessary immunizations and sterilization at a local veterinarian.
